Kakarot ZkEVM Is Now Moved To Starknet Sepolia

The Kakarot ZkEVM Testnet Journey

as we all know, kakarot zkevm has launched a public testnet since May (MOY), on May 22 kakarot launched their public whitelist testnet which was initially intended for builders who want to build dApps and test the kakarot zkevm , each individual needs an access code to be able to access the network (faucet) & at the end of this phase has more than 7K+ codes have been claimed based on chain activity and our last recap, that includes the previous phase too (AFAIK), This phase lasts for approximately 2+ months.

On July 22nd, kakarot zkevm has announced their public testnet after prev public whitelist testnet phase , yeah as kakarot team said in the previous phase, the public phase (no access code required) will be launched after enough dApps have deployed! At the beginning of this public phase, at least 5 dApps are live. It includes kakaswap, hisoka, Izumi, zenkai and more+ uncovered ecosystem, In this phase also particle network integrates and or added kakarot zkevm in their Co-Testnet members. This testnet phase lasts for 2+ months and/or ends 1 day ago 10-10-2024 with a total of 1M+ transactions.

add or update the kakarot zkevm chain id in your wallet, if you have participated in kakarot zkevm in the previous phase, you need to update your chain id to 0x34550b76e4065, and if you are just starting out, you can add RPC as shown in the infographic above, or you You can add it manually below :

before you start building or interacting on kakarot zkevm, you need to fund your wallet with some ETH sepolia, you can get it on the official kakarot zkevm faucet, the faucet is available on discord, and the official faucet page by kakarot zkevm (you need 0.05 ETH on mainnet) if you get it on the faucet page. you can also fund your wallet with a bridge via gasyard.

Once you have funded your wallet, you can explore and discover the ecosystem to start interacting, but because kakarot zkevm have moved their testnet to starknet sepolia, Many of the dapps are in the process of migration (under deploying) But there are some dapps that are already up (live) that you can try to interact such as GokuHub, Zenkai and more.
